AG Murrill’s LBI Arrests Caddo Parish School Employee for Production of Child Sexual Abuse Materials
Louisiana Attorney General Liz Murrill’s
Louisiana Bureau of Investigation agents arrested a Caddo Parish school
employee for production of child sexual abuse materials.
30-year-old Maurice Devon Grant of Haughton was arrested on
August 21, 2026, for:
- 1 Count of RS
14:81.e(4)(a) – Production of Child Sexual Abuse Materials
The suspect was identified after investigating the receipt
of a NCMEC (National Center for Missing and Exploited Children) CyberTip from
Snapchat. The report detailed that a user shared a video file depicting the
forced sexual abuse of a prepubescent male child. The suspect was arrested at a
local Caddo Parish high school, where he served as a paraprofessional.
Grant was booked in Shreveport and is being held on a
$175,000 bond.
The Shreveport Police Department assisted the Louisiana
Bureau of Investigation with the investigation, which remains ongoing.
